This position is located in the Court Support Services Section (CSSS), Registry under the supervision of the Chief of Court Support Services Section.
Education:
Advanced university degree in Law (or equivalent). Specialization in criminal law (both substantive and procedural) or international law or international humanitarian law or court administration would be an asset. A first level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree.
Work Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in the legal field. Demonstrated experience with the substantive functions of at least one of the various units – Victims and Witness Support & Operations, Victim and Witness Protection, Legal Aid & Defence, or Court Operations – is required, and experience in multiple areas is preferred.
Languages: English and French are the working languages of the Tribunal. For the post advertised, fluency in oral and written English is required. Good professional knowledge of French is highly desirable. Working knowledge of B/C/S and/or Dutch is an asset.
