Apple recalls its certain MacBook Air models for flash storage replacement
which is identified as faulty.
It announced as "MacBook Air Flash Storage Drive Replacement Program" on its official Apple page asking customers to replace their MacBook Air flash storage(64GB and 128GB) at free of cost which is purchased between June 2012 through June 2013.
Apple also released a Firmware Update to test your device, which will test your device whether its affected or not, contact Apple Retail Store/Apple Authorized service provider to replace your product if firmware test fail.
Apple recommends you to take backup your data and contact the Apple retail store or AASP for replacement.
If your owning a MacBook Air purchased between June 2012 to June 2013, test your drive using new firmware update and get replaced your flash storage.
